My name is Henry Ye Chan Choi Kim and everything I've done, every choice I've made, shaped who I am today. My life has always been pretty comfortable, but for a long time I felt like something was missing. That changed when I took a trip to Asia in June 2025. I didn't plan for it to change me, but it did. That's where I found what creating really means to me.
It started with photos. Then I began filming, designing, and making art. Each thing I tried opened another part of me I didn't know existed. Now creating is how I understand life. It's how I slow down, how I notice things, how I connect with people. It's not about being perfect or having a plan. It's about feeling something real and turning that into something I can share.
"Creating helps me make sense of the world. When I capture a moment or turn an idea into something real, it reminds me what it means to be alive. Life doesn't always make sense, and we can't control everything, but we can try to move with purpose."
I want to keep learning, keep making, and keep chasing the things that make me feel something. Photography, film, design. Each medium is just another way to stop time for a second.
I like capturing quiet moments, the kind that most people walk past without noticing. There's something about them that feels real, like time slows down for a second. My photos aren't about making things perfect. They're about seeing what's already there. The emotion, the stillness, the little stories in between.
Work includes photography for NOVA MODEL ACADEMY, cinematic film production post-processed in DaVinci Resolve, and product campaigns at editorial calibre.
